IFFO has worked very closely with the FAO for many years, and the FAO (under Globefish) is an honorary member of our organisation.  This week Enrico and Neil met with the FAO in Rome, presenting on IFFO data and the use of fishmeal and fish oil in aquaculture and pig and poultry production to a gathering of FAO fisheries, aquaculture and animal production staff.  Discussion focused on support for developing aquaculture, the importance of getting accurate production data, and opportunities for future projects.
